Information for young professionals of District 2


The D2 Young Professionals' Committee (YPC) was created to address the needs of athletic trainers who are in the first 12 years after initial certification/licensure. It develops strategies to increase recruitment, retention, volunteer involvement and convention attendance among young athletic training professionals. The YPC provides programs, activities, and educational opportunities to address young professional needs as well as promotes professional socialization.

NEWS:

District Two is excited to announce the creation of the D2 Young Professionals’ Committee Award of Distinction. This award acknowledges a deserving young professional who has demonstrated service to the profession, excellence in the workplace, and outstanding character. Applications are now being accepted through April 15th. The award will be presented at the D2 Business Meeting at the NATA convention and includes a plaque and registration to EATA 2020.
