The NATA District 2 EDAC is dedicated to improving the diversity and inclusion within the athletic training profession in District 2 states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York). The District 2 EDAC serves in an advisory role to the District 2 Executive Council, with the goal of identifying, educating and addressing relevant issues that are important to the diverse populations in the district. EDAC advocates sensitivity toward cultural diversity, development of cultural competence within the profession and promotion of athletic trainers as leaders in issues related to cultural competence and professional diversity within the health care professions.
